The EIT Food Portugal HUB, led by BGI, invites you to participate in the 3rd edition of its annual event in Arruda dos Vinhos.Marking its third consecutive year, the Agrifood Open Day is set to unite stakeholders from the agrifood sector for profound discussions at regional, national, and European levels. The event will center on the pivotal role of innovation, entrepreneurship, and education in shaping the future of agrifood systems.
This occasion will be dedicated to fostering knowledge sharing and potential synergies among diverse players in the agrifood industry. Farmers, startups, investors, corporates, SMEs, scientific institutions, as well as government entities, will participate to explore new avenues of collaboration. The ultimate aim is to contribute to a more innovative, sustainable, trusted and resilient agrifood value chain.
Sessions will be conducted in Portuguese, with the possibility of being translated to English.
Registration costs €15, which includes a benefits package, including access to all sessions with national and international expert speakers, lunch, coffee breaks throughout the event and a closing cocktail.
The Agrifood Open Day is organized by BGI (EIT Food’s contact point in Portugal), with the support of EIT Food, the Municipality of Arruda dos Vinhos and from Food4Sustainability.

Pelo terceiro ano consecutivo, o “Agrifood Open Day” vai reunir as partes interessadas do mundo agroalimentar para debater o estado do sector em três diferentes níveis — regional, nacional e europeu -, e discutir o papel da inovação, do empreendedorismo, e da educação na catalisação e promoção da resiliência do sector.
Este será um dia dedicado à partilha de conhecimento e ao fomento de potenciais sinergias entre vários players da indústria. Agricultores, startups, investidores, empresas, PMEs, instituições científicas e entidades governamentais vão explorar novos caminhos de colaboração, com o objetivo final de contribuir para uma cadeia de valor agroalimentar mais inovadora, sustentável, confiável e resiliente.
As sessões decorrerão em português, com possibilidade de tradução para inglês.
A inscrição tem um preço de 15€ que inclui um pacote de benefícios, abrangendo acesso a todas as sessões com oradores nacionais e internacionais, almoço, coffee breaks durante todo o evento, e um cocktail de encerramento.
O Agrifood Open Day é organizado pela BGI (ponto de contacto do EIT Food em Portugal), com o apoio do EIT Food, da Câmara Municipal de Arruda dos Vinhos e do Food4Sustainability.
