Our mission is to connect and support the innovation community across the whole of Portugal with the power of live events.

Innovation Scene makes it easy for founders, entrepreneurs and innovators to know what is happening across the country and across the street, who is doing what, and where are the best events to spend their time. We do all the hard work so everything is in one place.

Portugal Innovation Scene was founded by Peter Allen, director at Compelling Ideas, a creative tech and design agency based in the Centro region of Portugal.

Since its Lisbon launch during Web Summit 2017, Innovation Scene has become the essential platform for tech, startup and innovation events in Portugal. To date we have featured over 16,000 events from 2,600 organisations, including companies, incubators, tech groups, startup communities, business universities and government ministries.

We feature the hottest events that are relevant to our visitors, including workshops, seminars, summits, conferences, meetups, hackathons, tech talks, demo days, pitch events, and of course networking events!

Our service was built to help the startup community connect across the whole of Portugal, including not just the major cities Lisbon and Porto but regional hubs such as Leiria and Covilhã. All event listings are free.
