Workshop on Value Stream Mapping by Miguel Dias
In this hands-on 2-hour in-person workshop, you’ll map a delivery workflow, identify bottlenecks, and apply lean principles to improve your delivery’s effectiveness.
Originally developed at Toyota in the 1940s, value stream mapping helps teams visualize workflows to eliminate waste and deliver value faster.
What is Value Stream Mapping?
Value Stream Mapping (VSM) is a lean methodology that visualizes and analyzes workflows to identify inefficiencies, delays, and waste. It maps the flow of information and materials, enabling teams to optimize processes and enhance customer value. Miguel Dias explains that VSM helps teams improve onboarding, quality, and delivery frequency while reducing waste and boosting communication. More info.

About Miguel Dias (Product Management Leader and Digital Strategist):
Miguel is a Software Engineer with over five years of experience, building and scaling systems for large companies, startups, and a nonprofit. Miguel spent 2024 leading multiple Value Stream Mapping initiatives at Relex, a global SaaS company, involving individual teams, multiple teams, and an entire department.
