That's a wrap for this year's Web Summit week

Thanks to everyone who submitted events, shared our Side Events Guide and connected with us during the week.

Lisbon continues to grow as an innovation powerhouse. We are thrilled to report that during Web Summit we featured a record-breaking 264 innovation events across the city.

From founder workshops to entrepreneur power walks, from Portugal Tech Week House to startup after-parties, this year's Web Summit week was the biggest and most active we have ever seen.

This year there was a notable and very welcome increase in the number of diverse and representation-friendly events, including women in tech, black tech founders and LGBTQ+++ meetups.

Also there were many more events by delegations and groups from other countries looking to network and connect with the Portuguese ecosystem.
