This Makers In the Making workshop, led by Shadi Yazdan, will deliver a hands-on experience designed to help founders step back and think strategically before chasing capital.
We will walk through how to determine whether they truly need external funding, how to calculate their “magic number” based on real business drivers rather than guesswork, and how to design a funding strategy that aligns with their stage, ambition, and risk tolerance.
Founders and students can expect a practical, hands-on, decision-focused session. We will cover:
- how to evaluate different funding paths
- how to define the right capital amount to reach meaningful milestones
- and how to identify and approach their “match-made in heaven” investor.
The goal is clarity and confidence. By the end of the workshop, participants will understand not only how to raise capital, but whether they should raise at all and what it takes to position themselves for a strong and aligned partnership.
