About this event

You will learn best by building alongside other ambitious people.

In this four-hour, hands-on workshop, you will ship something real: a website, a workflow, or a small tool that supports your business. The focus is not theory or demos, but guided creation in a clear and supportive setting that helps you move from idea to execution.

You may have heard that AI can change how we work, yet getting started often feels overwhelming or vague. This workshop offers a practical way in. It is designed for people who are comfortable using a computer, curious about AI, and want a calm introduction without jargon or pressure. Together, we move beyond surface-level tools and show you how to work with AI in a practical way, using Claude as a building partner on your own machine.

Over the course of the afternoon, you will build step by step with guidance throughout. You can arrive with a clear idea or simply curiosity, and leave with something you built yourself and understand. No coding background is required.

What You’ll Actually Build

This is a build session, not a lecture.

You choose what you want to work on:

Launch a website, such as a portfolio or landing page

Automate part of your business, like emails, onboarding, or data workflows

Create a tool or early platform, including dashboards or custom mini apps

Build something experimental and shape an idea with guidance

Who This Is For

You’re a good fit if you run a business, consultancy, or side project, have ideas but feel blocked without technical help, want to move faster by building things yourself, and are curious about AI beyond basic prompting.

This workshop is not a fit if you prefer watching demos instead of building, expect AI to work without learning how to use it, are not comfortable using a computer, or do not have a MacBook with a recent operating system.

Why CoLab Lisbon?

Building alone is hard. Building together creates momentum.

This is not a traditional workshop where you watch someone else work. It is a collaborative build session where everyone is creating, problem-solving, and sharing the process together. You will get unstuck faster with expert facilitators and peer support, see what is possible by watching others build in real time, and leave with new connections to fellow AI builders in Lisbon. You will also get access to our private community for continued learning.

The future belongs to builders who can move at the speed of thought.
