We’re back from vacation, batteries recharged, and with great news for our next Geek Girls Portugal in-person event in Coimbra!
It will take place on September 23rd at Critical Software’s facilities, and we’ll have presentations from Joana Fernandes and Marilyn Gaspar.
Joana Fernandes will talk to us about a new concept, Revenue Operations (or RevOps), and its impact on the industry.
Marilyn Gaspar will address a very interesting topic about QA and Software Testing, and the differences across industries.

Geek Girls Portugal (G2PT) community was born in 2010 under the name Portugal Girl Geek Dinners and is the first Portuguese community created to promote and bring together women in the technology field through regular meetings. As of September 2016, it adopts the new name Geek Girls Portugal and a new logo to broaden and better represent a more comprehensive mission.
The new mission focuses on engaging, inspiring, and empowering women through meetings and workshops, awareness sessions in schools to inspire young women, and mentoring to support the professional development and progression of women in the technology field.
