[Given the success of this first event, we are offering this meetup again in a location 5 seconds from a metro stop! :] **Bitcoin represents a massive paradigm shift**, challenging our preconceived beliefs about money and the world around us. It introduces a collective incentive structure that contrasts sharply with that of our current monetary system. Built on cooperation, peace, and abundance rather than competition, conflict, and artificial scarcity, Bitcoin offers a path forward into an **incredibly bright and hopeful future that is already here.**
Existing outside traditional systems, Bitcoin empowers individuals with true self-sovereignty and greater free will. When we explore deep enough, we realize it eventually opens the collective up to a world that operates beyond money altogether.

It normally takes years to get this far down the “Bitcoin rabbit hole” to reach these conclusions—come discover this journey condensed into a short presentation with lots of time to meet others. **Whether you’re just hearing about Bitcoin or already curious**, this is a chance to learn, share, and meet others who are asking similar questions about the world around us.
**Evening Format:**
* **Mingling:** Meet other curious, international and local community members interested in discovering new ideas and challenging their preconceived beliefs about money and the world around them. During this free time and guided conversations, you’ll have a chance to connect and exchange ideas.
* **Presentation:** Take a journey down the Bitcoin rabbit hole, starting with an exploration of how our monetary system impacts us daily (ex. rising prices) leading to insights into how Bitcoin offers freedom from these constraints.
* **Integrating the Experience:** Leave with a hopeful yet grounded vision for a more empowered (present) future.

In a world where polarization often divides us, we invite you to come with an open mind. This group values curiosity, diverse perspectives, and a shared pursuit of deeper truths—all in the spirit of fostering greater free will. Once you see the world beyond our current reality, you cannot “unsee” it.
**📝 What to Bring:** An open, curious mind and a way to take notes.
**🔊 Language:** While attendants speak many languages including Portuguese, the presentation will be in English.
**☕️ Drinks:** Quality coffee, tea, and filtered water are offered for free. Feel free to serve yourself upon arrival.
**🏠 Venue:** This event is taking place at Cowork Sitio. It’s a comfortable and welcoming space that is equipped with what we need for a relaxing and inspiring evening.
**🚊 Getting to the venue:** This location is literally a 5 second walk from metro João de Deus, right next to El Corte Ingles.
**✋🏼 Getting into the venue:** This cowork has secured doors that require a pass to enter. We will come down to get groups of people at 20h30 and at 20h40. Since we must start at 20h45 to respect the reservation time, you will unfortunately not be let into the building and miss the event if you arrive late. Please arrive early or on time 🙏🏼
**💰 Cost:** While I ensure as many events as possible are free and accessible, this event is taking place in a location conducive to our specific need for a calm, reliable space next to a metro station with enough space to mingle and the equipment to present information. Since there are fees to cover, we will share them among ourselves. This event will therefore cost 15€ and all the money is going toward
