Join us for a dynamic two-day event where creativity meets purpose. Powered by Global Shapers Lisbon Hub and Nova SBE, the Green Horizons Hackathon invites you to develop practical, innovative solutions to some of today’s most urgent sustainability challenges.
The hackathon focuses on three key themes: Circular Economy, Social & Climate Justice, and Sustainable Finance, with a particular emphasis on addressing energy poverty.
Challenges will be presented by leading organizations:
🌍 Climate Reality Project was Founded by former U.S. Vice President Al Gore, is a global initiative dedicated to raising awareness and driving action to combat climate change.
💼 Deloitte is a global leader in consulting and sustainability services, is committed to helping organizations integrate circular economy principles into their operations.

These briefing hosts will introduce real-world problems and provide participants with the context, resources, and inspiration needed to build impactful solutions.
Participants will form multidisciplinary teams, blending skills in business, technology, design, and sustainability, to develop prototypes, strategies, or action plans. With expert mentors to guide you, workshops to expand your knowledge, and a panel of distinguished judges to evaluate your ideas, this is your chance to create real impact and drive meaningful change.

The event is free, but a €5 refundable deposit is required to confirm attendance. Deposits will be refunded to participants who attend, and unclaimed deposits will be donated to an environmental cause based in Lisbon.
