This event will be held in English and we will have two speakers from New Work.
We will meet Joana Bencatel, who will talk about how AI tools like GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT can help enhance the daily tasks of software developers. She will also cover practical use cases and best practices to boost productivity, as well as common challenges, providing actionable insights to improve the development experience.
Next, Sandra Ribeiro will share her journey as a QA professional, showing how she expanded the role beyond traditional testing to add significant value through automation and collaboration. She will also discuss how her company integrates QA throughout the development process, ensuring that quality is everyone’s responsibility. We’ll learn how to enhance QA roles to drive greater impact and success.

The Geek Girls Portugal (G2PT) community was born in 2010 under the name Portugal Girl Geek Dinners and is the first Portuguese community created to promote and bring together women in the technology field through regular meetings. As of September 2016, it adopts the new name Geek Girls Portugal and a new logo to broaden and better represent a more comprehensive mission.
The new mission focuses on engaging, inspiring, and empowering women through meetings and workshops, awareness sessions in schools to inspire young women, and mentoring to support the professional development and progression of women in the technology field.
