About this event

Join us for AOD’s Annual Event as part of the NATO Robotic Experimentation and Prototyping Augmented by Maritime Unmanned Systems (REPMUS).National security practitioners, researchers and instructors looking for shifting mindsets for the evolution of security organizations and to address complex situations are invited to participate in our Annual Event: Security by Design!

With Security by Design, we sat conditions for participants among NATO Members and partners to to learn from one another in their attempt at mobilizing and researching non-linear planning and strategy-making philosophies and methodologies such as strategic foresight, systems thinking, design thinking and transformative game design.

The Archipelago of Design (AOD), a global not for profit organization headquartered in Canada is coordinating the event in collaboration with the Naval School of Portugal. This event is the continuation of Innovation Methodologies for Defence Challenges (IMDC) annual conference series initiated in Ottawa in 2018. This year, the event is held as part of the NATO Robotic Experimentation and Prototyping Augmented by Maritime Unmanned Systems (REPMUS24) Conference.

Support our mission to empower leaders in shifting mindsets by foresight, systems thinking and design to set conditions for evolution and address complex situations by becoming a member. AOD designer members benefit from a 15% discount and AOD game changer members benefit from a 30% discount. Discount codes will be sent by email after signing up as member on the Ko-fi platform.

If you are a full-time student, you are eligible to receive a 50% discount for this event! To receive the discount, please email us at info@aodnetwork.ca with proof of enrollment.

General admission, AOD member and Full-time student discounted tickets include access to the activities, refreshments, lunch everyday and a social dinner on July 19th. REPMUS discounted tickets includes only access to July 19th-20th, lunch and refreshment since REPMUS attendees already have access to the Security by Design programme on July 18th. All ticket prices include 23% local tax and Eventbrite service fees.

Survey

You will receive a call for filling a survey to indicate your workshop preferences and other choices 3 weeks before the event.

All Attendees benefit from a discount at the Mercure Lisboa Almada.
