Join us for the first workshop of the year on February 28 at the 7.1 Tech Hub in Porto.
Our first workshop of the year will take place at the 7.1 Tech Hub in Porto on February 28!
The theme will be Many Hats, One Goal: Roles in Software Development.
In this interactive workshop, you’ll experience the real dynamics of software development teams. We’ll start by exploring some key roles — Product and Business Owners, Developers, Testers, and others — and how they work together in Agile environments. Then, you’ll experience it yourself: join a team, build a product under pressure, and discover firsthand why each role matters. You’ll understand:
What each role actually does (and its challenges)
How teams make decisions under pressure
Why communication between roles is everything
Ideal for anyone curious about product development, career exploration, or how teams work.

About Geek Girls Portugal...
Geek Girls Portugal (G2PT) community was born in 2010 under the name Portugal Girl Geek Dinners and is the first Portuguese community created to promote and bring together women in the technology field through regular meetings. As of September 2016, it adopts the new name Geek Girls Portugal and a new logo to broaden and better represent a more comprehensive mission.
The new mission focuses on engaging, inspiring, and empowering women through meetings and workshops, awareness sessions in schools to inspire young women, and mentoring to support the professional development and progression of women in the technology field.
