About this event
On this walk, we will uncover the cultural code of Portugal through the art of azulejos. Our itinerary will include not only Porto’s iconic locations, such as the Bank of Materials, Igreja do Carmo, and Capela das Almas, but also true “hidden gems” that you are unlikely to find on your own or with guidebooks. We will definitely visit the Se Cathedral, which houses unique 18th-century azulejos, and we will also explore modern ceramic panels from the 20th and 21st centuries, discussing how this art has evolved in Portugal over the centuries.
