About this event

Join us at Re-GenerEAT: Creative Sundays for a fun and innovative co-creation experience on April 14, 2024 at 5:00 PM!

After the success of our first Co-Creation Session, where we delved into the possibilities of reshaping our urban environment in a dining space, we are excited to announce Part 2 of our series. On April 14th, we will gather once again at VENN Canteen, this time to explore the enchanting realm of urban flora.

Guided by our expert guests and ignited by our shared creativity, we will explore the art of weaving greenery into the fabric of sterile urban landscapes. Indigenous flora, edible weeds, and topics such as mimicking and encouraging nature’s magical cycle will all be on the table.

We will follow up with the learnings of the first session in yet another workshop-like environment and rely on open collaboration where out-of-the-box thinking will be at the forefront.

The session will once again be led by Irena Uebler (Prima Matters and Precious Plastic Portugal), and will continue with the world cafe style discussion protocol that served us well in the first session.

The session will be assisted by our invitees who will provide their expertise to facilitate, inspire, and superchage our discussions

Sara Rodrigues e Rodrigo Camacho (Artistic Project Landra)

João Barata Feyo (Director of OPO’lab)

Filipa Almeida (Environmental Engineer and Urban Grower for Noocity)

Maria Prada (Forestry Engineer and Founder of Sweet Green)

Through this session, our work will shine light upon why it is so important to work on creating urban biodiversity

Focussing on creating an ecological Balance to ensures the health and balance of local ecosystems

Encouraging environmental resilience in urban environments to better withstand environmental stresses such as pollution, climate change, and habitat loss.

Enriching the cultural fabric of communities by offering opportunities for recreation, education, and connection to nature,

Join us at 5pm on Sunday, April 14th. Registration Required.

There will be snacks, small bites, and drinks to get the creative juices flowing.

Limited spaces available; apply now and be part of shaping the future of urban dining in this city!
