About this event

**Join this QA webinar on YouTube to dive into accessibility testing tools and ways to use Python library FILD for effective contract testing. The event is free for everyone and will be delivered by QA professionals from international IT companies, who not only present their talks but also answer your questions after the presentation.**

**”A11y Team in Action” by Inna Komoshvili, Junior QA Engineer at Devexperts**

About the talk

* The accessibility of websites and mobile applications is becoming increasingly important not only for people with disabilities but for all of us. It also helps businesses enhance their image and reputation. In the end, it is just the right thing to do. But what do you know about accessibility and the teams who deal with it? Let’s discuss the roles in an accessibility team and how this team interacts with other teams on a project, building the working processes. We’ll also explain how documentation can support all activities on a project with accessibility. Finally, we’ll expand on tools used for testing accessibility, providing interesting, real-life examples and illustrating how AI comes into the picture, improving the working process.

Speaker’s bio

* Inna Komoshvili is an ISTQB-certified QA engineer with 4 years of experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications across various projects and around 1 year of experience in accessibility. Being very passionate about the latter, she will share some of her knowledge and experience on the topic.

**”FILD — The Contract Testing Library” by Elena Kulgavaya, Senior QA Engineer at Idiomatic**

About the talk

* Microservices ecosystems have a lot to offer in terms of test automation challenges. At the same time, available tools are designed to solve development issues so testing teams are struggling inventing approaches and frameworks. Elena would like to share her story of microservices tests evolution and how she — and now everyone — can do it effectively with the help of FILD, the Python library for contract testing. The support of mocking, generating data, and triggering affected areas tests reduces workload on the team and increases the reliability of tests and — as a result – of the system itself.

Speaker’s bio

* Elena’s been helping companies to build better quality software for more than 10 years. She’s especially good at making order out of chaos and testing things that seemed to be untestable. Her absolute passion is automating the flows and eliminating the repetitive manual actions from everyday work of teams.
