**Neuroscience 101 & tools to reduce stress**

Chronic stress is a silent productivity killer (and let’s us age faster). We know exactly why.

The stress hormone cortisol changes the brain in structure and function (spoiler: not for the better 🤯). The fear center gets bigger in size, the control center responsible for cognition, decision-making, memory etc., smaller.

Besides hacking, optimising, streamlining, outperforming, there are a few other options to get better at managing stress. What we will look at:

◌ Why we get caught in the chronic stress loop

◌ How stress/cortisol affects the brain

◌ The three nervous system states

◌ How posture & fascia tie in

◌ Somatic tools to break the stress loop
