About this event

In our next event in Lisbon, we’ll celebrate the power of diversity as two remarkable women share their inspiring journeys.

Lisbon says Hi! to 2026 with a new meetup at HiBob! 👋🏿

We’re excited to start the year together with a meetup at HiBob, a company with the mission to transform how organisations operate in the modern world of work through its HR platform, Bob. At this event, we’ll celebrate the power of diversity as two remarkable women share their inspiring journeys, lighting the way for others to follow.

“Embracing change as a skill: thriving across stacks, roles, and markets” — Sarah Silva (LinkedIn)

Over the last decade, I’ve had to adapt multiple times — changing tech stacks, moving between very different companies and markets, working in another country, and recently adjusting to AI-driven development workflows. In this talk, I share concrete moments where change was uncomfortable but necessary, and how those transitions shaped my career. The goal is to show why long-term relevance in tech comes less from mastering a specific stack and more from the human contribution behind the code.

“Being a black woman in Tech, and our own Role Model” — Larissa Mendonça (LinkedIn)

How is the experience of a black woman trying to consolidate her career in IT? Are we familiar with the key factors that can influence this journey? This topic is being highly discussed in the market nowadays, but maybe not considering all the variants that can influence us to decide to join in this market or keep the real desire alive. In this talk, I plan to share experiences and insights for those who are interested in creating a long-term path in IT, learning about limits, communication, and assertiveness, in order to create our own role model and bring representativity to our companies, acting as a model for the sisters that are about to come.

Attendance is free, but places are limited — secure your spot now and be part of this inspiring conversation!
