The Speaker: Giorgio Piccoli
From juggling college debt to building a $60 million art and decor company, Giorgio Piccoli is living proof that the path to achievement can defy expectations — and pay off in unimaginable ways. As a child, he dreamt of owning a small business, but the weight of student loans after college led him toward a lucrative job at JPMorgan. Despite the comfort of a steady paycheck, Giorgio knew deep down that the corporate track was not his calling.
In 2012, he took a leap of faith — trading in his investment banker’s suit for the scrappy world of entrepreneurship with conviction — and founded Americanflat, a leading e-commerce brand specializing in curated art and decor. Today, Americanflat generates $60 million in annual revenue without a dime of outside funding and employs over 100 talented individuals across the globe.
