Get ready to immerse yourself into the world of AnyLogic during our dynamic and interactive hands-on training course! Join us for three days of learning and engaging networking opportunities.

The training will focus on solving problems! You will be guided through structuring a simulation problem, knowing which modeling paradigms to select, and building models in each paradigm. This includes building models in 3D, using special wizards and our extensive drag & drop library.

This course is designed for newcomers to AnyLogic and simulation, experienced simulation modelers who are relatively new to AnyLogic, as well as strategic / management staff wanting a deeper understanding of AnyLogic’s capabilities and development style.

Through participating in this training, you will gain valuable expertise that will make you stand out and drive success in your career.

Training Agenda:

Day 1:

Introduction to AnyLogic multimethod simulation modeling — theory and demo

Getting familiar with the AnyLogic model development environment — demo

Discrete Event (Process-Centric) modeling — theory

Call Center model — Discrete Event exercise

Agent-Based modeling — theory

Day 2:

SIR Model — Agent-Based exercise

Java basics for AnyLogic modelers — theory

Supply Chain — GIS-based exercise

Solar Panel Production Line — Material Handling Library exercise

Day 3:

Pedestrian modeling — theory

Airport model — pedestrian model

Optimizing traffic signals at Piazza del Colosseo, Rome — Road Traffic Library exercise

(Optional) System Dynamics theory and Bass Diffusion exercise

(Optional) Hump Yard — rail model

(Optional) Oil Refinery Plant — Fluid Library & Rail Library

Additional Information:

You will need a laptop that can run AnyLogic, and a mouse is also strongly recommended.

A PDF file containing the training manual will be provided.

Lunches and tea/coffee are provided as part of the course.

Instructors:

Ilya Grigoryev is Head of Training Services at The AnyLogic Company. He is the author of AnyLogic documentation and AnyLogic training courses. He has given numerous public training sessions in the U.S., Europe, Africa, and Asia. Ilya Grigoryev has been a simulation consultant to several organizations. He has been working at The AnyLogic Company for more than twenty years and has a deep and extensive knowledge of simulation and AnyLogic.

Roman Fursenko is the Head of the Customer Support Team at The AnyLogic Company, where he excels at facilitating strong connections between AnyLogic products and users. With a focus on delivering exceptional customer service, Roman supports global industry leaders in their simulation initiatives and ensures that user feedback is effectively communicated to the AnyLogic and anyLogistix development teams.
