The Event
It is a great honour for the Federal Republic of Germany to be part of Web Summit 2023! We want to make Web Summit 2023 special so please join us not only at our amazing pavilion at the fair, the “German Park” but also be kindly invited to our German Startup Night.
Experience the strength and diversity of the German startup ecosystem and join uns for an unforgettable night at Web Summit 2023. Use the opportunity to mix and mingle with our amazing startups, enjoy the formidable rooftop view over Rio Tejo and listen to actual robots making music!
The German Startup Night is presented by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action and the Digital Hub Initiative. In Collaboration with Baden-Württemberg International, Berlin Partner, BRYCK, Germany Works, and Startup Niedersachsen.

By registering for the event, you will get on a preliminary waiting list. You will receive a confirmation about your attendance in a seperate email.
For your convenience, there will be shuttle buses from the Web Summit expo hall to the German Startup Night. The buses will leave at approx. 05:45pm, 06:00pm, and 06:15pm from Alameda dos Oceanos, very close to the Web Summit exit. The exact place of departure will be communicated a few days prior to the event.
By attending this event you agree to be photographed and filmed. Also, you agree that the Digital Hub Initiative may publish the footage for marketing purposes.
Due to limited capacity, you may experience waiting time at the entrance.
