About this event
What will it take for Innovative Air Mobility (IAM) to truly work in European cities?
At Airspace World 2026 in Lisbon, join the Future Needs Workshop: Co-Creating Pathways for Socially Grounded IAM in European Cities, a free, interactive session taking place on 27 May.
Drone delivery, emergency response, reduced congestion — the potential is clear. But real-world adoption depends on more than technology. It hinges on public trust, regulatory alignment, and meaningful collaboration across sectors.
This workshop puts you at the centre of that conversation.
Working in groups, you will:
• Compare alternative transport approaches
• Examine the societal impacts of drone integration
• Contribute your perspective to shaping IAM deployment in Europe
Whether you are a UAS operator, policymaker, researcher, business leader, or simply curious about the future of urban mobility, this is your opportunity to engage, challenge assumptions, and help co-create viable pathways forward.
The workshop will take place on the 27th of May, 2026. The exact time will be confirmed in the coming weeks and shared directly with registered participants.
