The topic for this event is “Food” and you are invited to briefly present one or more books of any kind (fiction, non-fiction, whatever) that loosely fit this topic.
Some suggestions include novels where food plays a central role, or non-fiction books that focus on the production or consumption of food. And yes, your favourite cookbook is also a good choice! But as usual, you are free to interpret the topic any way you want.
Afterwards we will have a casual and friendly chat about the books, about the subject of food, and wherever else the conversation takes us!
You are of course welcome to bring the books you want to discuss, but it’s also fine if you don’t.
