About this event

This workshop is for all finance and stock lovers! Are you ready to use python to make your life easier?

**Join us on the 1st of February at 6.30 pm for an online workshop that will give you the power to analyze and automate your stocks with python! Save your spot here πŸ‘‰πŸΌ** bit.ly/3R5fx0s

## What will be the challenge?

🎯Imagine that it’s your first day of work, and your investment manager wants to test your analytical skills, asking you to make a simple technical analysis of stocks, cryptos and ETFs to improve the company’s investment portfolio.

🎯 Currently, the portfolio has around 250 companies, and your manager noticed that the team is losing too much time with manual tasks, so you would head to a great start if you could automate the process of analysing and signal buying orders.

### The Requirements are the following:

1\. Automate the analysis for any investment product\.

2\. Using a β€œBuy and Hold” strategy\, the goal is to have some recommendations based on the price fluctuation of those assets\.

3\. For signalling when to buy\, you’ve indicated that the company follows the strategy of comparing the closing price of the previous business day with its 30\-day Moving average closing price value\. If the closing price is lower than the current moving average value\, then that asset should be signalled and recommended\.

4\. We want to filter for assets that had the highest growth / least decrease in the last 6 months\.

5\. Our automated research should be able to receive Stocks\, ETF or Crypto assets;

6\. For the chosen assets\, your manager would be really happy if he could get a little more detail about them\.

πŸ§‘πŸ½β€πŸŽ“ **What will you need?**

\- To have your computer charged and a good internet connection;

\- A Google account;

\- Make sure Google Colab can be accessed\. All python coding will take place in this environment\.

\- Be on time\!

Let’s learn together! πŸ€“
