About this event
**What is Sparks?**
We are a group of business people that **meet once a week** **to discuss ideas and help each other solve problems**. We speak English during the sessions, unless all participants speak Portuguese fluently.
**How often do you meet?**
We meet once a week, every Monday at 7 PM (Lisbon time), and cap the meetings at a maximum of 1.5 hours.
**Who should join?**
Anyone (individual contributors, managers, leaders, entrepreneurs, freelancers, indie hackers, etc.) who would like to **help others or pick other people’s brains** on a specific topic. You will be very welcome!
**How much does it cost? What’s the catch?**
All sessions are **free**. We are still a recent group and we are **building a trusted community of members**. We are not trying to sell anything, unlike other groups, and we will ban guests who solely have that intention.
**Should I prepare anything before joining each call?**
Not really, but we will be asking you for a problem you’re currently trying to solve. You can pass on it, of course, but think about it ahead of time so that you can get impartial and fresh perspectives from the community members :)
**Do I need to be based in Lisbon or Portugal to join?**
No, but you will find it more difficult to connect with other members in person for the physical get-togethers.
