About this event

**What’s the point of improv?**

Don’t worry if that term strikes profound terror in your heart right now. It’s not always about being hilarious in improv. Improvisation is all about being able to communicate effectively. We can join from anywhere see the link to zoom Meeting ID: 816 3333 4086 and Passcode: 859850

What exactly do I mean? Consider that time when you’re giving a presentation, or simply in regular conversation, or at a meeting, and you suddenly find yourself frozen in the headlights, unsure of what to say. And you botched a word, you’re sweating, your hands are doing strange things, and you’re frozen.

We utilize improv to target that moment of being on the spot, and we perform games and exercises. We should train our brains to become used to certain situations. Let’s face it, everything in life is improvised.

We will work in small groups and discuss what improv is and why to use it in a business context.

We will play some short improv games. We will make personal connections.

For the rest of the workshop, we will create an introduction as part of

a small presentation of yourself four minutes long in pairs.

Practice this introduction in front of someone else in the group in the breakout room,

then ask for feedback.

Did you seem authentically yourself?

Were you confident in your voice and posture?

Then we will review and close the session.
