No matter which area of design we are working in, the future of design should be sustainable and regenerative – giving back more than we take to the world we inhabit. Rather than just cutting down negative impacts, the goal is now to design things for the capacity to recover, adapt, and thrive even in the face of challenges.

🌍 The tools for this new way of designing are emerging, knowing where to begin, which framework to use, and how to apply them for the benefit of all. The aim is to create new systems that actively regenerate the health and well-being of the planet, society, and even economies.

📌 About this webinar 📌

➡️ Laura Korkulanin, design anthropologist & regenerative entrepreneur, will talk with Joana Casaca Lemos, a design research consultant widely experienced with different stakeholders (PwC, Mercedes, IDEO, and Rockefeller Foundation), on what kind of tools and frameworks work and what are the skillsets we need to have in the box as future designers.

➡️ We will be sharing a primer on the existing tools out there, clarifying terminologies, and discussing different practical projects and business examples informed by Joana’s research practice. We’ll explore how we can move forward toward these ambitions and incorporate regenerative principles into UX and digital. An essential to future-proof the design profession.
