About this event

At Casa do Impacto we believe that Mental Health should be on the daily agenda. We want to bring the issue to the table, generalize, and normalize it.

“Target” is the pilot program we are developing to promote the mental health and wellbeing of entrepreneurs in partnership with Fidelidade. The program has an initial investment of around 25,000 euros and will involve about 200 people in over a year.

After challenging our Entrepreneurial Community to answer a survey to carry out a study on the prevention of mental illness in partnership with the Portuguese Catholic University (Catholic Research Centre for Psychological, Family and Social Wellbeing, CRC-W/UCP),we understood the reality of mental health in the Impact Entrepreneurship Ecosystem at Casa do Impacto and this allowed us to adapt the pilot to the concrete needs of our audience.

Today, with the certainty that it is impossible to remain indifferent to this issue, we want to launch our pilot at the Kick-Off event, “The Future is Target,” on 21 November at Casa do Impacto (09:00-13:00).

We invite the Impact community, partners, and investors to sit down with us for a public talk that will explore two very pertinent themes within Mental Health: “Fail Well” and “Include Well.”

The world of entrepreneurship is complex and moves at a swift pace. Like everything in life, it is made up of successes but also of mistakes and slip-ups. The inevitability of instability leads to a need to seek balance and prepare for the uncontrollable constantly. We can’t guarantee that you won’t fail, but we believe that you can do it better if you take care of your mental health to deal with it better; we want to talk about “Failing Well.”

From another perspective, we also want to “Include Well.” Casa do Impacto is proud of the partners it has worked with along the way. Many of the institutions we are working with are corporations that prioritize the mental health of their employees and define measures to promote their wellbeing, prioritizing Corporate Social Responsibility and taking on relevant ESG issues.

The panels will comprise speakers who share their experiences and give examples of “Failing Well” and “Including Well.” For now, let’s keep the suspense.

You are our Target. Sit at the table and join the conversation!
