**Session 1 — Delta Lakehouse Optimization for PowerBI — Ricardo Castro Santos**

The Lakehouse and the Delta Lake table format are central to Microsoft Fabric, as a data architecture platform for storing, managing, and analyzing structured and unstructured data in a single location, assuring that tables are optimized for analytics is a key requirement. In this session, we will look into the importance and the benefits of delta tables and their features that enable and maximize query performance in-memory like data access times.

**Session 2 — Mastering Row Level Security in PowerBI — Jorge Pessoa**

Are you ready to take control of your data and ensure it’s only accessed by those who should see it?

This session will empower with the knowledge of how to approach multiple-level security (RLS) scenarios, from basic setups to more advanced rule-based configurations.

Whether you’re new to RLS or seeking to enhance your expertise, this event offers valuable insights for all levels. We will guide you through setting up RLS in PowerBI, from fundamental configurations to more advanced, applying best practices on this implementation, and most importantly, impersonating our end users to test everything and avoid undesired leaks.

**Session 3 — Demystifying Power BI Developer Mode for Business User — Miguel Félix**

The new Power BI Developer Mode changes dataset and report development, providing a faster, more accessible approach. This mode includes source control and seamless integration with DevOps and Fabric, making it an impressive tool for advanced users and IT professionals.

However, the good news is that you don’t need to be a full-time developer or have an extensive IT background to benefit from this feature. In this session, I will demonstrate how you can take advantage of Developer Mode without the need for advanced integrations like DevOps and Fabric.

I will showcase how this option enables you to:

\- Perform actions like renaming\, sorting\, duplicating\, and deleting report pages\.

\- Seamlessly copy and paste entire pages between reports\.

\- Update your dataset with new calculations and queries\.

\- Create or modify table Model Views\.

\- Manage bookmarks through renaming and deleting\.

\- Duplicate visualizations effortlessly\.

\- And much more\.

Join me to discover how you can enhance your reports and datasets without even opening Power BI Desktop.

About the event:

* All presented times are Lisbon Time

* Meetup will be hosted in **Portuguese**

* This is a **live even**t, and won’t be a recording
